The free bee: what it is and how to get one

Spend $60, get a squeaky bee. That's the deal. Here are the details.
What it is
A squeaky bee toy in Beeline blue and yellow. It's our mascot in toy form: the same bee that flies around this site, the header and the gift band. You can't buy it. You can only earn it.
Why no black stripes
Real bees have black stripes. Ours doesn't. Everything we make comes in the two colors dogs see clearly, and the mascot doesn't get an exemption.
How to get one
- Get your cart to $60 before shipping and tax. The bee adds itself at $0. You don't need a code.
- Drop below $60 and the bee leaves the cart. It's punctual like that.
- One bee per order. The quantity is locked at one, so no bee farming.
- Not sold on its own. A cart with only a bee in it won't go through.
The progress line in the cart tells you how far you are. "$14 to the free bee" means you're one Hex Ball away. (Prices change; the cart does the math for you.)
Why a bee
The name came first. Beeline: what a dog does when he spots a toy he can see. A bee in blue and yellow was the obvious mascot. Putting it in the box was the obvious next step.
Why $60
It's the point where a bee fits in the box and still makes sense for us to send. We'd rather put a toy in the box than run a discount code.
When it arrives
The bee ships with your order. Sometimes it comes in a separate parcel, with its own tracking number.
If your order was $60 or more and no bee turned up, tell us through the contact page. We'll send one.
If you return something
If a return takes your order below $60, keep the bee. It's free. We're not chasing it.
